Brendan McDonough is a Senior Associate with five years of principal investing and investment banking experience. Prior to joining Maxim in September 2026, he was a Senior Associate at Union Park Capital, a lower middle market buyout fund focused on industrial technology, where he focused on new investment theses and portfolio strategic initiatives, including execution across new platforms and add-on acquisitions. Before Union Park, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at Baker Tilly Capital. He began his career as an M&A Analyst at Deloitte.
Brendangraduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and German, where he served as captain of the men’s soccer team. Following graduation, he played professional soccer in Major League Soccer for the Vancouver Whitecaps before transitioning to a career in finance.
