Harrison Chong joined Maxim in January 2024. Prior to joining Maxim, he interned at Koru Partners, a thematic asset management firm, and Lima Capital Asia, a distressed assets firm, before joining Phoenix-5 as an Investment Banking analyst. During his stints, he was actively involved in deal sourcing and deal evaluation.
Having been raised in Singapore, Harrison is currently a Grata scholar at University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering & Applied Science. He is a freshman majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Entrepreneurship. He is also the CEO and co-founder of Jalan Journey, an up and coming EdTech startup in Southeast Asia. In his free time, he has a passion for cutting both men and women’s hair. He is an on-campus hairstylist that is more commonly known as “Harri Styles!”
