Wendy joined Maxim as an investment professional in October of 2022 bringing her passion and experience in leveraging technology to transform traditional industries. Prior to joining Maxim, Wendy was an investor in technology and consumer sectors, and a manager at Ernst & Young LLP under Transaction Advisory Services where she advised on diverse M&A transactions across multiple industries. Wendy co-founded UIUCode, an education center which taught young children coding through gaming.
Originally from China, Wendy received her MBA from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, MS in Financial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and BS in Financial Engineering from Nanjing University. She is a CFA charter holder and a designated FRM.
